The preamble to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms is the introductory sentence to the Constitution of Canada’s Charter of Rights and Constitution Act, 1982. In full, it reads, “Whereas Canada is founded upon principles that recognize the supremacy of God and the rule of law”. -Wikipedia
The fundamental problem facing Canada today is that its current government, those who support it and a significant majority of its detractors, do not recognize the supremacy of God. Almost every Canadian claims to “believe in” the rule of law
It is impossible to “believe in” the rule of law and not “believe in” God since the rule of law is the notion that we are all “created” equal, not that we all “evolved” to become equal.
With the basic processes of evolution being natural selection and survival of the fittest, the latter proposition is about as far from rational possibility as it gets. Just ask your local eugenicist or MAID proponent.
Anyone want to talk about it?
